Questions & Answers

How do I book accommodations?

We’d recommend booking a room at Okemo Mountain Resort. We have a block rate; it is close to the Welcome Party; and it will be easiest for transportation on Saturday.

Anyone is welcome to book a different accommodation, just know that all pick-ups and drop-offs will come from Okemo on Saturday.

What’s the best way to get to Vermont?

Flying and/or driving is the best way to get here. It’s a straight shot if you land in either Boston (I-93/89) or Burlington (I-89). From New York, it’s an easy drive from the Hutch/I-91 (or a beautiful drive via the Taconic/Route 7).

How should I get around during the weekend?

We’d recommend using a car to get to the Welcome Party. On wedding day, we will have buses leaving from Okemo to take each and every guest to the ceremony and reception.

Would it be easier to drive myself?

For ease and everyone’s safety, the only way to and from the farm on Saturday will be via the shuttle buses at Okemo Mountain Resort.

What’s the dress code?

The welcome party at OQ Farm will be cocktail attire. Men, think jacket, no tie or a sweater over a button-down. For women, dresses with practical comfort in mind. The temperature may dip when the sun goes down, but we’ll be keeping everyone warm with a bonfire.

For the wedding day: black-tie attire, with the understanding that we will (again!) be outdoors the entire time. Ladies, long dresses are encouraged, though high heels are certainly not required. Gentlemen, dust off the tuxes!

Can I bring a plus-one?

Due to the size of the celebration, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally listed on your invitation.

Are children invited?

While we would love to welcome even the smallest of our family and friends, the celebration weekend will be adults-only. We hope you enjoy a weekend off to relax and celebrate with us!

Is there a registry?

There is! With the limited space in Brooklyn, we’re leaning away from a traditional list and looking toward the future.

(The trip to Vermont can be an investment in itself, and we would consider your presence a gift!)
